Well it looks like I wont be using 4g. 3g is still nothing to sneeze about. Anyone know what Sprint's plan is for the expansive 4g rollout?

Is this map updated regulary, or it this possibly an old version? Sprint is supposed to be doing a mass 4G rollout, not sure if that is going on yet or not.

Updated regularly; and with that it's by market. Indeed they are currently working on implementing 4G service to those without; but there is usually an "official" statement released to the public when one or more markets have been activated and is ready for use.

I'll continually keep everyone up to date as the information becomes available

I see no difference between 3g and 4g in use. I don't use it because I think it uses up battery time. Is that so?

no there is a BIG difference between 3G and 4G
with 4G I can run at about 6-7 Meg
    with 3G Im barely getting 300kbps !

If you are not in a 4G area then keep the antenna off
but if you are then keep it on ! it worth the battery sacrifice

BTW Pittsburgh and surrounding areas has 4G rite now !

Agree, there's a huge difference depending on location. If you're not over 1.5megs with 4G (considering your 3G service is a bit more solid in your area), I would keep the radio off to conserve battery life.
