I updated my EVO to the latest update. I think it's 2.3.3 or something. Anyways, now I'm wishing I hadn't just because the shortcut on the lock screen to get to my phone to make a call has disappeared. Anyone else have this issue and know of a solution. Thanks.

It should be customizable. You can make your home screen display shortcuts, widgets or apps. Follow the steps:

1. Tap and hold a vacant spot on the Home screen
(alternatively press the plus button at the bottom of the screen)
2. From the pop-up menu select Shortcut (or Widget, App, Folder)
3. Select the desired type to place on the Home screen.
4. The icon is added to the Home screen.

Thanks, but i fixed it. I just updated my phone again and that seemed to have done the trick. I'm also experiencing better battery life so that's good too. Only problem I'm having now is the HTC screen showing up unwantingly and having to reload my home screen. Any solutions for that? Either way, thanks for the reply.
