Low internal disk space warning
I keep getting a warning that I have low internal disk space on my evo 4g. I don't think I have that many apps on my phone. I've deleted the ones I don't use and moved eveything that can be moved to my SD card. Is there a setting I'm missing that is keeping trash, etc on my phone?

Just go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications, then press the "All tab" and find out which app eats all your internal storage space. Could be your Contacts Storage which can get buggy (sometimes) and eat a lot of storage space. However, don't do anything yet (especially DO NOT clear your Contacts Storage because you're going to lose all your contacts), just tell us the results.

It looks like my big offenders are:
Adobe Flash 12.83mb
Adobe Reader 7.09mb
com.htc.socialnetwork.provider 6.15mb
Contacts Storage 7.28mb
Dialer Storage 13.05mb
Facebook for HTC Sence 22.75mb (I have another one that is just Facebook 14.83mb)
Handcent SMS 8.15mb
Yahoo Mail 13.56mb
Maps 9.62mb
Those seem to be the largest ones.
Again Thanks

Everything seems to be in order as far as I can tell. I thought your Contacts Storage is causing problems. Remove some apps and move others to your SD card. I suggest you to get "Apps 2 SD" - it can be very useful for that purpose.

hi all... im having the same issues.. my biggest offenders are "com.htc.socialnetwork.provider" at 87.73mb, and contacts storage at 54.9mb, and of course, the 2 different Facebook apps... i assume the FB for HTC Sense is the stock one and the other is the updated app?
i tried all the other tricks moving stuff around which helped but i still only have 78mb free on my phone... makes no sense as the only apps i have downloaded are Facebook, and lightbox...

well, searched around online some more and saw somewhere that if you link your Facebook contacts with your phone contact list, it can shoot the size of com.htc.socialnetwork.provider... unfortunately for my phone, i have 2,200 additional contacts causing that 87mb... whew... im good to go now...
