i need help please
I can not recieve texts on my evo..turned in evo for on/off button did not work, they ordered me another phone...picked phone up over a week ago and its never received texts..ive called my cell phone co there answer is ..its the network, however, other 2 phones on my acct are working just fine..and the phone they kept of mine was working just fine on texting...I even asks them to switch my number with one of the other ones to see if they can receive texts on my phone, but they said no need to do that because my phone is fine.....anyone got any answers or suggestions

Update your PRL and Profile.
Goto Menu>Settings>System Updates>Update PRL
Do the same thing and Update Profile
Not sure if this will fix the issue as there may be other factors. Have you tried using another text app such as Handcent, Chomp or GO SMS? They are free and are much better than the stock text msg app.

I have updated the PRL and Profile, and I did try handcent but it didnt work..I can send texts and pics but I cant receive any..and sprint has no answers

Have you done a battery pull or a factory reset? I'm running out of suggestions. Sorry, I can't help you more.

may b it is a problem of your phone network ...try to contact with your service provider

Since you tried almost everything..maybe it is a hardware issue. Have it checked if you still have it under warranty.
