    Alarm Clock

    I am new to android (former blackberry) the alarm clock in bb did not require the phone to be one to work. Is there an app in android for that. As bad as the battery is on the evo, the phone battery would die before morning and hence the alarm would not go off/

    No,there is no Android app that can wake up your device if it's off. When your phone is off, it is off and nothing can wake it up, only if you push the right button
