    Disabling Carrier Message screen

    I am using my HTC Evo phone for testing using wifi only

    However, every few seconds the 'select a carrier' screen pops up and it is hard to use the phone.

    Do you know how to disable this screen and make it only wifi mode.

    I was able to disable the screen by removing the SIM card. Thank you
