If you've never posted - post here!
This section is for introducing yourself to the rest of the community. We have smartphone users from all walks of life, from all types of places, and we like to get to know our new members as much as we can.
Some things that make for good introductions:
- What phone you have, and why you chose it
- What you like most about Android or your phone
- Where you are from, what you do, etc.
- Are you an Android master or a novice?
- Tell us an interesting fact about yourself!
Your introduction is also a great place to get help if you are completely lost. Don't know where to post a question? Ask about it in your introduction and we'll point you in the right direction.

I am KJKW, located in Idaho, finishing up the last of seven decades of life. My grandson recommended the HTC Evo because his dad has one of the earlier versions, so when it was time to update with Sprint, I chose that model and got excellent help transferring everything from my Samsung Instinct, along with basic how to get started, how to answer the phone, etc. What I like most about the Android screens and apps is the power to accomplish many tasks. What I like least about the HTC Evo is the power all those fancy apps use and the relatively short battery life, especially for such uses as the GPS -- which, by the way, works great. My current need is to print off some text messages I asked someone to forward to me to help her prove cyberharrassment. If the instructions on how to do this are in the FAQ's I was unable to find them. Any suggestions on how best to search FAQ's?
Thanks.

Printing text messages from my phone
Thank you Euphorian. I just looked at the app (it is still in Beta according to my phone info), and it refers to Google Chrome. Do I have to download that and replace my Internet Explorer browser to use the app?

You are welcome
You wont need to replace Internet explorer with Google chrome.
you can still use Internet Explorer but still you will need to download
Google Chrome and also download Cloud print since they do work hand in hand
You wont have to use Google chrome after that.
you still need to have it installed on your computer tho..

You dont want to delete any of that stuff
or you could drastically mess up your phone
You should look for only for what you want to print
and print it
what kind of a file are you looking for ?
maybe I could help you locate it ?
