Although we are still a few weeks ahead of the Evo 3D launch, the folks over at 911Sniper have released a leaked Evo 3D system dump. It looks like this is an early build version now, but hopefully it's the start of some great development for this device.

So is there any use for this? It's not like you can use it on any old phone, can you?

For the average user, I don't think there's much use for this. It's just interesting, and means that somewhere, developers are already digging into this new phone. I'm curious how this stuff is constantly leaked, and if it's on purpose.

I'm certain it's intentional. Remember, the Evo was rooted pre-launch as they were given to devs at the I/O.
