    Frequent Restarting

My EVO 3D has been doing a lot of hard reboots lately. Waiting a couple of minutes for the phone to start up again when I need to send an email is very annoying. It was a lot less frequent when I first started using it, but now it is almost becoming a daily thing.

Any ideas what it could be? This was one of the reasons I didn't want another HTC, because of stability issues, but I love sense and the 3D had the best specs of any Rogers phone so now I'm stuck :S

Do you have any 'exotic' applications installed? Try removing them, but if it doesn't help, I would take it back to Rogers and ask for a replacement. The phone should not reboot itself for no reason.

Define exotic. All the apps I have are pretty popular and widely-used, but I can try playing with it some. Also most of the downloaded apps I have are on my SD. I'd rather not have to go through the hell of getting it replaced, especially since I have it configured perfectly right now.

Two days after I bought my 3D, it did the same thing. Took it back to Sprint and they said it must be a software glitch and exchanged it.

Bought my phone then within 2 days after 2 updates it started rebooting on it's own. returned it and got a replacement phone and then the same thing happened!

Update: My phone doesn't really restart anymore, only when the RAM is overloaded. Keep close attention to your usage, and you should be fine. It kind of sucks though, the amount of power this phone has should be able to handle this.
