I created a folder on the home screen cause I have way too many apps however all the apps that are in that folder that are loaded on my SD card don't have their icons showing up, only the generic android program symbol. The apps in my internal memory in that folder are unaffected.

What gives?

Looks like the SD card is not scanned after the boot. Go into manage applications and force stop the launcher. It will restart once you click the Home button. That should refresh it.
