I love my EVO. At launch it was the best phone in the US. At this time there still isn't any phone out there that I would run to and waste an upgrade. The EVO has so much to offer and I hope they keep making them in the future. A dual core processor would be nice. Now with that said, I feel I'm being cheated out of all the options that the EVO has to offer because of Sprint. With the speeds that I'm getting I can't even watch a youtube video. Lots of buffering!!! Phone calls and text messaging problems, the list goes on and on. Is anyone else having these issues? If the EVO ever moves to another carrier I will surely move on from Sprint to unlock the EVO's true potential. My two cents, what do you guys think?

Where are you at? What's your coverage like (see Sprint coverage maps). Are you on the "fringe".

I'm in a metropolitan area and have no issues with speed, etc. Regularly hit 4g.

I'm in Tulsa OK, 6 to 8 months ago my speeds were fine. now they are just pathetic. if you want an idea of what other customers are experiencing check out the sprint community forums. people all over the US are complaining. im glad that you have good service, maybe even a little jealous. Here is a shot of speeds that i get, sometimes even slower.

Nah...you either have phone problems or connectivity problems. Compared to yours, mine are off the chart:

Ping: 37ms Upload: 5.0Mbps Download: 10.11Mbps

thanks for rubbing it in...lol...all kidding aside, i will be leaving sprint if they can't get this fixed. i hate paying for this mediocre service. i will definitely miss my EVO!!!
