    How to turn off Swype tutorial - with pictures!

    First, open up any text box. Here, I've gone into my messaging app (Handcent) and start typing out a message to my buddy Ted:







    2. Once you have the textbox, press and hold in the text entry area. After about 3 seconds, this men should come up:






    3. Select Input Method:





    4. That will bring up this menu. Simply select which keyboard you want to use. I like Swiftkey:





    VOILA! This will be the default keyboard that shows up from now on whenever you attempt to enter text into a text box.
