I have a rubberized 'Platinum Series' case on my EVO, and I found something out by complete accident the other day.

On my windshield I have the mount for my Garmin 4.3 GPS, and while looking at my phone I thought to myself "These are about the same dimensions" so I tried to put the phone in the mount and 'Voila'!, it fit in there perfectly, not to mention held really well. I am not a big fan of the Universal mounts for phones, and the Garmin one is perfect in every way for its small footprint of size.

Just thought I would share this with everyone and encourage you to try this if you have access to a Garmin windshield mount. My GPS no longer is used in my car, as I use the EVO in its place now.

Could you tell us which Garmin mount this is? Is a mount made my Garmin and for which model Garmin? Thanks
