Video Call on HTC EVO 3D

HTC have provided one front and one back camera. Presently the use of front camera is either for taking a self photograph or as an accessory to cater the mirror (useless) application loaded in the phone. Even though the phone is supporting 3G, you will never be able to make a video call from it (forget about the applications you will have to purchase as extra). Definetely it is a laps on HTC team.
Does anybody knows that in any firmware update HTC had sortedout this issue?
I have even written to HTC once, after saying sorry they told that they will consider in the firmware updates later.

There is a way, but not an official one. To make this work you have to be rooted, running Android 2.3.4 with Sense-based ROM:
