To root or not to root, that is the question!
With all the talk going on about sucky battery life, excessive bloatware, poor performance etc. How could one not at least consider rooting? The sky's the limit once you're rooted, you now have full control over your phone, and who doesn't want to be in control, I know I was tired of being told when to update my phone with ota's being shoved down my throat! So I decided to fight back and rooted my phone and now I can customize my phone to fit MY NEEDS, not HTC or sprints needs, but mine. I now can flash any rom I want and any kernel to suit my individual needs at any given time. Not to mention customizing my phone with splash screens of my choosing........boot animations to fit my mood and maybe even a boot sound recording that makes me laugh everytime I reboot my phone. I have many more choices in apps being rooted, than I did unrooted and yes there are inherent dangers in having your phone rooted, but as long as you take your time, read, read, read and always ask questions, the benefits far outweigh the possible pitfalls! So am I a poster boy for rooting? Hell yes! Take control of your cellular future and root away, you wont regret it!
