How to gain S-OFF and then root the latest Gingerbread OTA for HTC EVO 4G

I used that root and followed the instructions. I also used the stock rooted ROM with super user.

Everything works fine, I bought Titanium back up and deleted some of the Sprint apps. I didnt delete that many because I was scared of getting issues, just a few lame ones like NASCAR. Is there a list of which ones I can delete without getting issues?

I cant get my WiFi to work. When I go to the network settings it says "error" when I try to check it. Is there another app im supposed to download?


Also if you guys can recommend some useful *root only* apps, it would be greatly appreciated.

Do a battery pull - this should fix the WiFi
