so i downloaded the new software/firmware that they were telling me to update today Jun 07th/2011 and now the buttons for rooting doesnt work anymore. (power + volume down)

anybody knows whats going on?

You can not root
after you install the regular Gingerbread update
the bootloader is locked

although more than likely -
they will have a fix for this shortly

I still find it hard to believe that the EVO 3D has already been rooted with Gingerbread on it, but we haven't gotten one for the EVO 4G yet....I saw a rom that gives your 4G the 3D look and I want to try it but we all have to wait for the root to be released first.
