kbgarback- in reply to your question, i have a rooted phone too and wanted to install the new update (4.22.651.2) on my phone but not sure of the directions either. The stock rom is fine, but I've been driving decks evo gingerbread rom for over a month with excellent GPS thanks to the fix and have been well pleased with my battery life compared to sense based roms and if you think an aosp rom might be boring, throw up a few Widgets and wallah you've got simulated sense............rock on flashers!

+1 for Decks rom. I use it as my daily. I got skype to work on it so my phone is complete.

how to put file in root of sd card
ill try to explain this as simply as i can... its realy complicated...
first u have to access ur sd card as a removable hard drive. either set ur phone to be used as an removable storage device, buy or use a micro sd adapter then access it on your computer using either built in, added, or usb card reader hardware...
once your able to explore you sd card and view files. take the file u need to place in root of card and paste it. DO NOT PASTE IT IN ANY FOLDERS IN UR SD CARD! just open sd card and paste it in the main directory....
