Anybody get their Google Plus invite? They jammed it up with so many users, they had to stop letting people give out invites.
For those that don't know, this is Google's attempt to go head to head with Facebook. There is an android mobile app as well

I'm set up already. It is a work in progress but it looks pretty good so far. Has some different things from Facebook but it is very similar. They have shut down the invites for now but I'm sure they will start up again soon.

I'm not sure whether Google+ will be able to rival Facebook. However, I think people have been accustomed to using/playing Facebook for a long time already, people will be hyped up trying Google+ but would mellow down eventually. I have not received any invites from Google+, but have heard of its features and sounds like fun. :3 I'm looking forward to trying it out, would probably move to Google+ just to avoid some people from Facebook. :P

I have recieved my invitation and it is pretty awesome! All the things I hate about facebook Google + took care of and the whole circle thing and huddle is awesome. I remember when Myspace was the big thing, it took facebook years to become bigger than myspace and I think Google+ will do the same. It will take awhile because people in general do not like change but they will overcome facebook, no doubt in my mind. Google+ is far superior...

This is Google's shot to go toe to toe with Facebook. I think they are off to a good start and seemed to have understood what it will take to rival Facebook, where their previous attempts failed (Google Buzz and Orkut were flops). It will be like Google Chrome vs Firefox. Competition makes the product better.
