    Question: Can you repair the ribbon cable connectors on the EVO 4G main board?

    I had my screen replaced at a cell phone repair store a few days back and noticed that things were not working as they should. I took it back apart and noticed that when they replaced the screen, they broke off one of the ribbon cable clamps and had tried fixing it using glue. Obviously, this did not work. Well, maybe long enough to get paid for the work. Anyway, is there a way to replace the whole connector, or is it impossible due to the small pins and surface mount solder connections?

    There are 2 ribbon cables. Was it the white one? I don't think the connector itself can be replaced.
