HTC 4G Evo Error From Unrevoked3

After installing Hboot drivers as per instructions, I then started Unrevoked 3 and it started, but I eventually received the following error ; "Error: failed to get root. Is your firmware too new?". How do I correct this? My firmware version is Android 2.3.3.

    Thx
