Other than hooking up the HTC Evo to a computer as an "external drive", does anyone know how to access the internal SD Card directly from the phone?

I see that you have no replies. I use the ASTRO File Manager app from the Android Market. I use it all of the time for coying, moving, renaming within the folder structure on the SD card. I think that it will do what you are looking for direct from the phone.

Look for an app (Free) Called LINDA MANAGER - it will not only show you the structure of your SD Card (and full access) but also the directory of your hone's built-in memory AND apps AND the ability to kill any of them. Awesome app - another freeware.

So using Astro, is there a way that I can move an image from the SD card into my picture gallery? I hold down on the picture, menu comes up, I select move and then nothing happens?

Using Astro I see the DCIM folder but how do I move the file into it? New to android. Thanks.

First:

- Launch Atro File Mananger and go to external_sd > DCIM;

- Press Multi on the toolbar and start tapping once on each picture you would to to move (their title color should be changed when you press on them);

- When you're done selecting the picture you would like to move, press Edit on the toolbar > select Move;

- Finally, Press Home on the toolbar > go to DCIM > and press Paste on the toolbar and you're done - your picture should be moved from your external SD card to your internal card.
